Moroccan Electronic Music & Heritage
Sounds of Morocco aims to build a bridge between
Moroccan heritage (Gnawa, Amazigh, Chaâbi, and
regional folk traditions) and contemporary
electronic music, through residencies,
collaborations and long-term artistic development.
Our approach is to respect tradition while creating new
narratives that speak to today’s audiences locally and globally.
Building a Platform for Independent Artists
As an independent label and cultural project, Sounds of Morocco
supports emerging artists with distribution, creative direction
and international connections, helping them navigate the music
industry while staying true to their identity.
We work with producers, singers, instrumentalists and visual
artists to design sustainable careers rooted in the Moroccan and
North African ecosystem.
From Local Residency to Global Release
Each residency is designed as a complete cycle: research,
creation, collaboration, live performance and finally digital
release on major platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube
Music, etc.).
This method allows us to document the process, involve local
communities and transform each chapter into a cultural and
musical statement from Morocco to the world.
